Sapnis var arī izpaust sajūtu parkaunu vai neaizsargātību citu vai Dieva priekšā. Pravieši bieži attēlo tautas vai cilvēku atklāto stāvokli, lai norādītu uz morālu neveiksmi un vajadzību atgriezties pie derības uzticības. Šāda interpretācija aicina uz godīgu atzīšanos un pastorālu padomu, nevis izmisumu.
